In a world that is increasingly toxic, thyroid imbalances are common. One in eight women in the United States today develops a thyroid disorder. Untreated, thyroid imbalances can lead to serious complications such as heart problems, depression, and infertility. Both overactive and underactive thyroid conditions are generally treated with pharmaceuticals. Synthroid—a synthetic thyroid drug—is the most-prescribed medication in the U.S.
If you have a thyroid imbalance and you don’t welcome the idea of going on medication for the rest of your life, consider doing the Thyroid Rejuvenation Program.
After several years of research into how to bring balance and rejuvenation to individuals with thyroid complaints, Tienko Ting has found that he can successfully and quickly restore healthy balance to this important gland without using pharmaceuticals or supplements. Instead, he uses remote chi healing. (Click here to read more about Tienko). The beauty of the Thyroid Rejuvenation Program is that you can go about your life as usual while your thyroid gland heals.
The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland, about two inches long, located in the front of your neck. The hormones released by the thyroid regulate metabolism and affect nearly every organ in the body. Problems can result when the thyroid gland is underactive or overactive.
Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland is underactive and does not release enough hormones to meet the body’s needs. It is one of the most common health issues today. Symptoms can include low energy, weight gain, mental confusion, depression, excess hair loss, and sleep disturbances. Hypothyroidism becomes more common as people age. One study found that 26 percent of women at or near peri-menopause are diagnosed as hypothyroid. The actual incidence may be higher. The most common treatment is with synthetic thyroid hormone.
Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland is overactive, producing too much of one thyroid hormone. This results in an accelerated metabolism and can produce a wide range of symptoms, such as anxiety, irritability, weight loss, increased appetite, rapid or irregular heartbeat, tremors, excessive sweating, sleeping difficulties, and changes to the vitality of the hair and skin. Hyperthyroidism is often treated with radioactive iodine or anti-thyroid medication.
